As you can tell I have not added any new posts in awhile. Right now (Jan 2014) Jeff and I are busy getting ready to make a new, up-dated video with all the new techniques using your Silhouette. I will be posting more about this soon. Our video will contain the techniques I have shared on this blog and other new techniques. I am really excited to share what I have been doing with printing on gum paste.

  2. I have a brand new Silhouette Portrait. I am ashamed to say I haven`t even removed it from the box!
    I got it to use for my cake decorating. I just discovered you have this site.
    Can you tell me when your DVD will be available

  4. Hi, Alia,

    You can order our kit from our web site at www.deseretdesigns.com. One note - you use it to cut gum paste to decorate cakes, not fondant. Fondant is too soft and doesn't work for decorations.

  5. I am thinking about getting one of these kits, but do you know if you can use modeling chocolate in the silhouette?
